Live Grievance Redressal: Bilaspur Collector Sanjay Agrawal Dials Applicant Mid-Meeting, Assures Ujjwala Benefit Once Portal Reopens
BILASPUR, June 16, 2026: Bilaspur Collector Sanjay Agrawal on Tuesday conducted a detailed review of pending cases under the Chief Minister Helpline, PMO Portal, CM Jandarshan, CG Grievance, CM declarations, and other priority government schemes during the weekly Time-Limit (TL) meeting.
A heartwarming and unique incident unfolded during the meeting when Collector Agrawal, while conducting a live review of grievances registered on the CM Helpline, personally dialed the number of an applicant, Mr. Rajendra Sahu, a resident of Birkona.

When the Collector introduced himself on the call saying, “I am the Collector of Bilaspur speaking,” the applicant, Mr. Sahu, could hardly believe his ears for a moment. Reassuring him, the Collector cordially inquired about his grievance.
Ujjwala Benefit as Soon as the Portal Reopens
Rajendra Sahu informed the Collector that he had applied for a gas connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and wanted to know the current status of his application. Apprising him of the actual situation, Collector Agrawal explained that:

The official portal of the scheme is currently closed.

As soon as the portal reopens, prompt action will be taken as per rules to ensure he receives the benefit of the scheme.

Strict Orders to Officials: No Delay in Redressal
The Collector issued strict directives to all departmental officers present at the meeting, emphasizing that resolving the issues and grievances of the general public must be their topmost priority. He ordered that pending cases on the CM Helpline and other portals must be resolved within the stipulated time frame and with complete transparency, ensuring citizens face no hassle in availing themselves of government schemes.
The progress and implementation of various welfare schemes were thoroughly evaluated during the meeting. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Prakash Sarve, District Panchayat CEO Sandeep Agrawal, and other senior district-level officials were present on the occasion.
