Chhattisgarh IPS Transfers 2026: 18 Officers Get New Postings, List Attached
Raipur, October 9, 2026: The Chhattisgarh government has reshuffled the state police administration, assigning new responsibilities to 18 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. The changes include appointments to key branches at the police headquarters, district-level postings and assignments in urban police administration.
As part of the reshuffle, Aman Kumar Jha has been appointed Superintendent of Police (SP) of the State Investigation Agency (SIA), while Ajay Kumar has been posted as SP of the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB). Both agencies function under the state police administration, with responsibilities linked to their respective investigative and intelligence mandates.
The reshuffle also involves appointments to branches at the police headquarters in Nava Raipur, including personnel assigned to planning and management, the Special Non-Terrestrial Force (SNTF), and other administrative functions. The changes are part of a broader redistribution of responsibilities across the state police establishment.
At the district level, several officers have been assigned new roles in the Bastar division and other regions, including Kanker, Narayanpur, Sukma, Jagdalpur, Kondagaon and Bijapur. The changes also cover urban police assignments in Raipur, Rajnandgaon and Ambikapur.
