SECL again helped BSP district administration to fight Corona….20 lakh released for spending on keeping students from Rajasthan Kota in Quarantine Center in Bilaspur….MLA Shailesh said – Thank you very much for the help
Coal India’s largest company South Eastern Coal Fields has come forward to help in the Chhattisgarh government’s fight against global corona disease. SECL has helped the Bilaspur District Administration fund Rs 20 lakhs for the expenditure while keeping the children from Rajasthan kota in quarantine. Bilaspur MLA Shailesh Pandey has thanked SECL for this help.
In Chhattisgarh, the number of patients affected by corona has increased in a few days. In such a situation, it is necessary to have an active medical system to deal with this epidemic and to protect yourself from this infection. Efforts are being made at every level to fight this disaster. SECL has also contributed significantly in this fight. SECL has helped the Bilaspur District Administration fund Rs 20 lakhs for the expenditure while keeping the children from Rajasthan quota in quarantine. Even before this, SECL has given a total financial assistance of 21.01 crores to different works and sectors. This includes a financial contribution of Rs 10 crore to the Chhattisgarh State Disaster Management Authority for eradication of Kovid-19 and Rs 8.27 crore for setting up of Kovid medical centers at Bilaspur and Ambikapur.
Recently SECL had given a total financial assistance of Rs 1.75 crore to the district administration of Korba, Surajpur, Balrampur, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria and Bilaspur. In this, financial assistance of 25 lakh rupees was given to each district administration. Also, additional financial support of 24.34 lakhs was given to build Kovid-19 Quarantine Center in Bilaspur.
To avoid the effects of Kovid-19 in Korba district, each area has given financial support to Korba district administration of Rs. 25 lakhs, totaling Rs. 75 lakhs, from CSR item of Deepka, Korba and Kusmunda area. This initiative of SECL for prevention and treatment of Kovid-19 will definitely be helpful.
