The development follows the proactive efforts of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and the state\u2019s Department of Industries, with the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry approving the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>With this regional office, farmers, producers, and exporters in Chhattisgarh will now have access to a wide range of export-related services under one roof. No longer will they have to depend on offices in other states for training, certification, packaging, standardisation, or export-related procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Global-quality services now at local level<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The APEDA office in Raipur will streamline procedures such as phytosanitary certification, quality certification, lab testing, and export documentation\u2014saving time and reducing costs for stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Branding boost and global visibility for Chhattisgarh products<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The regional office will ease direct exports of fruits, vegetables, rice, GI-tagged products, millets, and other agri commodities to international markets. This will ensure better prices for producers, new market access for traders, and global recognition for the state\u2019s diverse agri-produce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doubling farmer income through knowledge and better prices<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With access to global markets, Chhattisgarh\u2019s farmers will command higher returns for their produce. They will also receive training and insights into modern techniques, quality control, advanced packaging, and global marketing\u2014right at the local level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Push for export infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apart from certification and brand promotion, APEDA also supports infrastructure creation and maintenance. This includes food processing units, cold storages, and pack houses\u2014giving a major boost to the state\u2019s agri-business ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Access to special schemes and subsidies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chhattisgarh\u2019s farmers, startups, and MSMEs will now benefit more easily from APEDA\u2019s export promotion schemes, skill development programmes, and subsidy initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing his happiness over the landmark move, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said this new APEDA office would serve as a powerful bridge between Chhattisgarh\u2019s agri producers and the global market.
