Rapid Implementation of Chief Minister’s Announcement: Approval of ₹4.61 Crore for the Construction of Manora College Building

Raipur, July 30, 2025 / Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has granted administrative approval of ₹4 crore 61 lakh 25 thousand for the construction of a government college building in the Manora development block. This approval has been provided in accordance with the announcement made by the Chief Minister during his visit to Jashpur, and the state government is promptly implementing it.

The Chief Minister has made it clear that there shall be no hindrance in the developmental works of Jashpur district. He emphasized that approvals are continuously being given for works related to education, health, infrastructure, and the construction of roads and bridges, so that development plans can swiftly come to fruition. The Chief Minister also stated that the state government’s effort is to provide better facilities for higher education to children in remote areas right within their reach. With this objective, the college building is being constructed in Manora. Additionally, concrete efforts are being made to promote tourism and expand health services in the district.

With the approval for the construction of the college building in Manora, students from the region will no longer have to travel outside for education, and they will be able to receive quality education locally.
