The occasion highlights the Chhattisgarh Government’s devotion to Sanatan traditions, folk faith, and respect for devotees — a symbolic yet inspiring step towards preserving the cultural soul of the state.

It is noteworthy that Bhoramdeo Temple holds immense religious significance during the month of Shravan. Being the third Monday, the number of devotees and the intensity of their faith are expected to be at their peak. Thousands of Kanwariyas from districts including Kabirdham, Bemetara, Khairagarh, Rajnandgaon, Baloda Bazar, Mungeli, and Bilaspur are expected to converge at Bhoramdeo Dham. In addition, many devotees also undertake a foot pilgrimage all the way from Amarkantak, the origin of the sacred Narmada River, carrying holy water to offer Jalabhishek to Lord Bholenath at Bhoramdeo temple.

On the initiative of Deputy CM Vijay Sharma, elaborate arrangements have been made for the comfort and safety of the pilgrims. Facilities such as security, drinking water, health services, meals, night stay, parking, guidance, and first aid have been systematically put in place. The entire temple premises have been transformed into a devotional setting with decorative lighting, bhajan evenings, and sanitation drives, offering devotees a truly divine and spiritual experience.

Under the leadership of CM Vishnu Deo Sai, this tradition of honoring and serving the devotees continues to reach new heights. The floral welcome is not just a symbolic act, but a strong message that the Chhattisgarh Government stands firmly with religion, faith, and culture, and places the people’s belief system at the highest priority.

Known as the “Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh”, Bhoramdeo Dham will become the spiritual epicenter of Shravan this Monday. The Kanwar Yatra and the presence of the Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers will transform the occasion into a shining example of spiritual energy, administrative readiness, and community participation — a tradition that is bound to grow into a deeply inspiring legacy in the years to come.
